Rob was recommended to me by a work colleague and I am more than happy to pass that recommendation on. He asks the appropriate questions to understand your issue and then reviews and updates your treatment at each appointment. From a non-clinical perspective his processes are very effective i.e. e-mailed appointment confirmations and reminders 24 hours in advance. Excellent!

I went to Rob pretty much as a last resort due to ongoing issues with my back and shoulder. After four treatments I finally feel as good as new! I can’t praise Rob high enough. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Having suffered with scoliosis since childhood, I didn’t expect to find an osteopath that would be able to help ease my constant back pain. My daughter who is also treated by Rob was actually the one who recommended I try him & I’m so glad she did. I already feel like my movement is easier & my posture is improving. I never feel pressured to make more appointments and Rob is very honest with what he may/may not be able to achieve through his work. Fantastic osteopath & put me at ease instantly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Absolutely brilliant!!! Rob is so knowledgeable. Any issue I've ever gone to him about he knows exactly what it is and explains it to me so I understand what's going on. He is very welcoming and puts you at ease. I can honestly say I would not go anywhere else.

I have been visiting Chelmsford Osteopathic Practice for several weeks after suffering with very sore and inflamed ribs. After only one session I noticed an incredible improvement and have continued to visit weekly as the treatment is definitely working. I couldn’t recommend this practice and Rob highly enough.

1st visit today and very happy. Got to the issues I am having with my back and started sorting out. I felt comfortable straight away and felt relaxed which is I think very important when seeing an osteopath.I would definitely recommend this practice.

Visited Chelmsford Osteopathic Practice recently and am so happy I did! Been to Dr’s on numerous occasions and seem to get nowhere. I get fobbed off with pills. Saw Rob and he took thorough history and examination. Gave me answers and gave me treatment. 2 treatments in and I actually feel so much better already. Mr Shaw was highly recommended to me by my son, who had previously made use of his services.After one session my back and hip pain was virtually a thing of the past! I cannot speak highly enough ofhis knowledge and ability. Coupled with that was his location, close to the heart of Chelmsford but with extremely handy parking facilities, thus easily accessible!

Excellent Service! I have been to a number of osteo's/physios and I would no longer go to any one else but Rob. The methods of manipulation will always prove effective, even if it takes 2 or 3 sessions and you will come away well informed from a description of the specific areas/joints that are affected and why it happens. I have no hesitation in recommending Chelmsford Osteo Practice. I've been a client of Rob's for about five years. I've seen him for various back, neck and shoulder problems over this time - hazards of working an office job! I always feel better after an appointment.Rob is professional, informative and friendly. He really understands how the human body works and gives clear explanations & advice.The clinic is really close to the town centre, and also has off road parking. It's easy to contact them - phone, text or email. If they can't answer the phone, they always calls back. I like that they email appointment confirmations, including an appointment file which you can add it to your calendar. Highly recommended.

Have had a great experience at this practice. I often have problems with my shoulders and after a few sessions, they felt like new. When the issue reoccured I was able to quickly book an appointment to get this dealt with. Friendly, helpful and professional service.

I can't recommend Rob enough, I have 3 herniated discs in my neck and the pain was unbearable. I searched for an osteopath and came across Rob a few years ago.Rob is fantastic and gets straight to the problem, I wouldn't go to anyone else.His knowledge is second to none and he has helped me back to recovery.Professional & friendly service.Highly recommended ????

Honestly had an amazing experience. Rob made me feel extremely comfortable and I knew from the moment I stepped in I was in safe hands. I had a lot of problems with my lower back before I came to see him and I’m 17 so this was concerning as the pain was really bad however I literally walked out feeling brand new, my back has improved more than I ever thought it would in such little time and I’m now back to doing everything I was able to do before my back pain started. Also had a really nice and genuine conversation with Rob throughout the session and ended up being one of the nicest people I have met he’s a very genuine person who just wants to help others. He has also helped my dad, nan and grandad massively regarding back problems. Would 100% recommend going to see him.

I am a creature of habit I'd like to stick to what I know and who I am comfortable with. I have been seeing Rob Shaw for a little over 3 years now for various ailments over that time period. Needed to make an appointment but Rob was unavailable which are first got me disheartened as I didn't want to see anyone else. However due to the pain I was experiencing from a problem with my lower back I had no choice but to take the appointment.My appointment was with Andy and all I can say is what a nice bloke and just like Rob you will be very safe hands....... Excuse the pun.He made me feel very comfortable and at ease. He kept my mind preoccupied away from the pain as he was working on me with general chat and topical conversation. To be honest halfway through it didn't feel like I was at an osteopath clinic, more just lying down whilst he worked his magic on my limbs and back whilst stretching me out me and giving a bit of a massage.I highly recommend this practice with first-hand experience of Rob and Andy. Thank you so much guys...... you are cracking.
